We are into my second favorite period of the exchange: signups!

You are required to request at least three fandoms (and up to 10) and offer four fandoms (up to ten). You must offer two tags for each fandom (or "Any" if there is only one tag nominated in the fandom). If you request or offer "Any" it means "any character or relationship tag in our approved tagset", so please keep that in mind when requesting or offering. Requests are visible from the beginning, so you can offer confident in what will be requested this year!

Matching is OR. If you request a fandom and request two tags in the fandom (such as group: A/B, and A), your artist/vidder/writer only has to include one "set" (in this case, either A/B or A on their own). Please keep this in mind when signing up!

Finally, a reminder if you defaulted after the no-penalty default deadline in previous years, you have until signups close to finalize your makeup work and get a link mailed to me. You are not eligible to participate until you do so. If you don't know whether you fall into this category please contact me!

Hello!

I'm very sorry, I don't know if this is too late to be helpful, but as I was going to input my signup I noticed that Fallout 4 has both group: John Hancock/Male Sole Survivor and group: Male Sole Survivor/Hancock, which is the same pair twice. Is there a preference for which one I should select if I'm planning to request those characters?

You’re very lucky; I was able to amend the tag set to remove the duplicate. There should only be group: John Hancock/Male Sole Survivor. Please choose that one if the tag set is lagging in making that change!

Also I don't know if it even matters, but on that list I'm pretty sure that Solstice is the sequel to Cinders. If you're bundling other games by series, you might be inclined to bundle those two as well.

Uh. Actually, Solstice isn't a sequel. It's just made by the same people in the same style. But the content isn't connected at all.

Maybe not directly, but back before Solstice was released, I remember it being billed as an adventure in the same world with one of Cinders' sisters going off and doing her own thing. (Mostly because I remember people who hadn't redeemed the sister complaining that it railroads you into a specific ending or something.)

But made by the same people in the same style without being connected could also describe the Final Fantasy series to most people, and that's also bundled.

(That's my understanding and thought process. If my understanding is mistaken, then no worries: adjust accordingly.)

ETA: Okay, so the Sophia spinoff is an entirely different project apparently? And I confused them for the same game. I must have conflated them back when all the promotions were being shared on my radar. (Sorry, for the confusion, Mod!)
