First round of queries:

• Star Wars nominators - AO3 is doing some odd things on the approval screen with these games. Please put at the end of each tag what game the tag belongs to, and I will separate them all out after approval.
• Assassin's Creed - in the past this has been nominated as one fandom, including this round. I've also been told that there's interest in splitting the games up. Please let me know your thoughts, including how you think the games should be split up if you think they should be.
• Shin Megami Tensei - you've nominated as a fandom the entire SMT franchise. Do you mean the first game?
• The Legend of Zelda & Related Fandoms - this is far too broad. Please nominate a particular continuity of Zelda.
• Unassociated characters - does anyone know which games these tags belong to: Group: Blaze|Razgriz 1/Kei Nagase|Razgriz 2, Group: Isaac Clarke/Nicole Brennan, Group: Trigger|Strider 1/Avril Mead

Any duplicates, changes, missing tags, let me know!

My understanding from previous rounds is that the games are distinct enough that they should be separate nominations. Unfortunately, when AO3 merged the canonical tags for both games, when people nominate them separately they get merged on my end. I'd like to separate them back out into individual games, which I've done for the KotOR2 nominations, and I plan to go back and do that for KotOR once I have a chance to confirm which nominations belong to which game.

On that note, can you help there?

None of them are my noms (I was asking in advance of nominating*), but of the ones currently in the combined tag, the following are definitely composed entirely of characters only appearing in KotOR II:

Group: Atris/Kreia/Female Jedi Exile (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)
Group: Atton "Jaq" Rand & Kreia (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)
Group: Atton "Jaq" Rand/Bao-Dur (Star Wars) (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)
Kreia (Star Wars) (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)

while these are from KotOR I:

group: Male Revan & HK-47
group: Male Revan/Canderous Ordo

(Canderous Ordo in fact appears in II as well, but he's not called that there)

and these tags combine characters from both:

Group: Atton "Jaq" Rand/Revan (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)
Group: The Jedi Exile & Alek | Darth Malak & Revan (Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic)

*Would it help if when I do add my noms I use a non-canonical tag for the first game?

It definitely would help if you used a non-canonical tag, because then I can merge the KotOR tags to that one. Thanks for letting me know where the tags go - I'll put up a post later today about whether we merge the fandoms or whether the crossover tag should go to crossovers.

Digging around, I discovered that almost all obvious tags for the first game are synned to the tag that's now for both. So I went with "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Bioware 2003)" but that's just a temporary thing, feel free to fiddle around with it however you like.
