The game spends a lot of time going back and forth between all three of these women and setting them up as possible date material for Cloud, with the Gold Saucer as the ultimate payoff. (And then there's the rest of the game and the movies beyond that.)
...they have to have compared notes on Cloud before making a "decision" about who gets to accompany him. Lets see what happened for them to make the decision. (Your choice as to whom Cloud actually gets. Barrett is a valid option here.)

Lulu has a baby! And YuRiPa is..."hired" to do some babysitting while Wakka and Lulu have a date out in Spira.
Hilarity ensues. Who's competent at child-rearing? Who reads stories? Who makes funny faces? Who has to do the cooking? How easy is it for the child to get out from under the eyes of the premiere Sphere Hunters?
(Are there Dresssphere changes and formation poses before attempting to tackle the babysitting?)

Sky pirates! The kind that are convinced they're the main character of the story. And the one that keeps Balthier from indulging his fantasies on the matter too far before he really gets himself in trouble.
Stories of how Fran kept Balthier from getting in too far, or where Balthier managed to get them both into an adventure, despite Fran's insistence that he not, or just stories of Balthier being himself with a wink and a nod and trying to get Fran to react to things, and Fran doing her best to no sell him and maintain that Viera detachment that he's poking at.

Vanille/Fang is a functional, lovely relationship that's been around for much longer than any of the adventures that we see in the series of games. I'd like to see the story where they met in Oerba, and the ways that Vanille chased Fang while Fang decided on whether to chase back.

Right at the beginning of the game, Kyu suggests the player character might be the most difficult task she's ever taken on. I want to know what she's comparing the player to. Tell me the sordid stories of Kyu Sugardust and all the other attempts she's done to do the love fairy thing.
Possibly in epistles to Venus, in the same style as the letters to the Princess in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

It's a very strong power to be able to rewrite someone's heart. And being split from Kairi makes the connection to Sora (and Roxas) that much stronger. How does Namine sort out which of her feelings toward everyone are genuine and which ones are just part of her origin story? Drawings and doodles, and the power that comes with them, and the other tasks that the rest of the Organization would like her to engage in, are welcome.

Summoners is the keyword here. Each of these characters is intimately familiar with the methods of calling one's friends and companions into battle, whether as monsters, Magicite, or the fayth. Common ground, differences, and the unique situations of being a summoner that make it possible for each to understand the other is the kind of story I would like here.
