Creator Reveals!

All creators should now be revealed! Thank you all for your participation, and I look forward to seeing you all next year. If you have any feedback, now is the time!

One of the things I am considering is running a fest either later on in the year or after Chocolate Box next year, where you post prompts and other people (or yourself) fill them in an archive that would go live at a certain time. Would that be something that would interest people?

I'd definitely be interested in the fest! The timing sounds good, too.

Also, Trick or Treat started doing something this year that is really helping out artists in particular. The mod included these optional ticky boxes that are like "you may ignore my art/fic preferences for extra gifts" and "do not ignore my art/fic preferences for extra gifts" and these are making it possible to gift so many more art treats!

In the past, we always had to rely on people mentioning in their letter that they're okay with art for extra gifts even if they didn't request it, but too many participants find that to be presumptuous to put in their letter even if they WOULD be okay with art.

Plenty of people really don't want art at all, so you can't just gift it to anyone, and the ticky boxes ToT is doing this year eliminates that concern. So I'd love to see something like that in Press Start next time if possible! \o/

Those sound like some cool options! I always request fic because writing fanfic is what I do, but if that option was available, I would mark it for treats.

As for the prompt fest idea as long as it's video game related, I'm up for it :) Would you announce about it here? I only check for interesting prompt challenges occasionally on AO3.

It would definitely be video game related! I'm leaning towards Fetch Quest as a name. It would be announced here and I'd also put up a post on fandom calendar as I also don't really check AO3 for prompt challenges that often.

Yay, creator reveals. One thing, though - the work I made isn't showing up on my AO3 list of works yet. Should I sit tight and expect it to show up soon or open a support ticket about it?

Thanks for letting me know! That's a bug in the reveal algorithm, but I can force it to go visible too. I've just done that and it should be visible on your works page now.
