I play my Sidestep very blue and a big part of them very much wanting Ortega to figure things out and stop her, so anything along those lines would be nice. Is she feeling disappointed with him for failing even as their romance deeps. Maybe if their relationship's gotten deep enough (and she's kept on not actually doing anything seriously evil) by the time he finds out he keeps his mouth shut at first as he tries to figure out what the heck he wants to do about it? His finding out about any of her secrets is great really! Or, other way around, her getting past the pedestal she has him on and learn more about him as he is. More than any other possible pairing in this game I'm very into anything about the two of them eventually coming to see each other clearly instead of being caught up in how they perceive each other.
On the other hand, Sidestep/Steel hits this contrary part of me that faces characters who dislike the PC in games and go "I WILL MAKE YOU LIKE ME!" But I'm also really interested in the fact that WOG says that it's more difficult for a female Sidestep to romance him because he's only ever been interested in men before, and given her powers and his suspicion of them I'd be really interested in anything where he thinks she's telepathically manipulating him into wanting her (though I wouldn't want her actually doing so)
I always prefer default names, so please keep Sidestep's day to day name as Cynthia. If you'd be interested (and please don't feel like you need to, I'm only offering the ability to because it's quick to blaze through and the character can differ so much depending on playthrough) once I'm not using my phone to post I'll put a quick list of all the choices my Sidestep made here- https://person4.dreamwidth.org/145739.html -so you can see how my own is, but the main thing is preferring her blue whatever her decisions.

Something post-game with Ajay just going the hell home when he's finally able to make it there and Pagan in exile bursting in on his life again because he left Ajay a COUNTRY, what is this nonsense with him just going back to live quietly in the US? Or Ajay hunting down Pagan himself to throw him back on his throne, because, fuck it all, he might be a murderous dictator but somehow less terrible for the average Kyrati citizen than Amita or Sabal has ended up being and Ajay still doesn't want the throne himself. Or, of course, anything spinning off from the crab rangoon ending.

Fire Emblem: If | Fire Emblem: Fates

I first picked Xander for my Corrin to marry because nobody can EVER argue that she doesn't belong with the Nohr royal family again if she's married into it, no matter how she first came into it (and Xander being the one old enough that he'd have always been fully aware of her not really being his sister, even if he accepted her into the family as one). I'd really like something based around that idea, Corrin negotiating out whether they'd be willing, feeling guilty about asking them to sacrifice having a wife who loves them as a spouse should to ease her fears but not so guilty as to not ask. I'm totally happy with romantic love growing from there, but like a starting place of Corrin wanting to make it clear to the world that this family is HERS.
Azura and Arthur was a pairing that jumped on me out of nowhere, I'd never even intended to have them support right up until he was the closest on to pair up to protect her one time she almost died, the battle lasted long enough for the C-rank to pop and I immediately needed to know where it was going. They're so sweet together, and I would love to see anything focused on their relationship. Arthur writing more little songs for her? Something about their parenting, considering how differently their linked children react to each of them? Something sad post-Conquest about Arthur's luck and choice of wife? Or maybe something timeloopy where post-Conquest he goes back and ends up in the Revelations path with all his memories?
Odin and Elise were the first pair I decided to hook up, just because the cutie pie princess and the chunibyo boy getting married amused me, but I ended up being seriously charmed by how thrown off he was by her delight in his way well before S-rank. Anything about one of her unseen lessons in Odin-isms would be cute, or about the rumors he's mentioned them causing about his corrupting her and how few shits she gives about them. Something with Laslow and Selena teasing Odin about marrying a girl a lot like his mom? Something on their wedding day, how ridiculous do the wedding vows get? (I could imagine him trying to rein it in a bit right up until she comes out with some big ridiculous Odin-ist speech herself.) Or anything once it's time for him to go back home, maybe something with Corrin focusing on the fact that each sister had to make a choice about whether to stay with their old family or their new one, and where Corrin picked Nohr Elise chooses Odin and Ophelia.

This pair just grabbed me the first time I played Tagora's chapter and never let go again. I like Gor-Gor giving him gifts and trying to pretend that he didn't actually spend money on him (does it mean something in troll society that he would go against his own money hungry quirk for him?) I like how after several chapters where the PC was obviously attracted to the troll of the moment Tagora was the first one that was obviously attracted to him instead once he got himself all cleaned up and sparkly. Maybe something with Tagora coming to terms with figuring out he's into aliens? Galekh, after his chapter, letting Tagora know that he's decided that he doesn't mind PC as Tagora's matesprit if he wants the people in his quadrants to be okay with each other, to Gor-Gor's mortification? Anything at all post-game with the PC trying to figure out how the hell he really feels about all these weirdos post-compulsion and realizing he actually has more than friendly feelings for this one. Or, I have never been able to bring myself to get the bad Tagora ending in Tirona's route, but know what happens and could go for the PC frantically trying to fix things with him; we know that Tagora is at least somewhat aware of what Tyzias is up to so he'd at least get where PC was coming from if he went "She was forcing me to break into one of my friends offices and I knew you had nothing to hide UNLIKE OTHERS" (though if you run with that I would rather he does succeed in winning him back).
If what's in Tagora's pants comes up I dislike both tentadick and trolls have both headcanons, if going for xeno I'd rather it get weirder than that or else just keep things humanlike (except, you know, grey and probably rougher).

I've gotten a couple nice things for these two before, but I'm always after more!
I really like how we know from WoG that the reason he abstains at the vote of no confidence is because he's grateful to her for his position but thinks that she's completely mad for treating his sister the way she did, and it takes you literally making her the very best Elodie she can be to make him see her as someone he could love, and even then she really has to work for it to make him consider marrying someone so young showing that she must genuinely want to be with him to bother. And, honestly, it just makes me happy for the poor guy to finally have someone who really wants him.
Really, just anything building up this relationship, with Elodie slowly convincing Ignatius that, yeah, there are potential matches for her that are closer to her own age or better options politically, but for whatever reason she wants to marry him and that is it for her. And that she was someone who could make him happy as well. Why did she choose him (whims of the player aside)? From how long their courtship took, at a time when I'm sure the whole country was itching for her to produce an heir ASAP considering all that had happened, presumably she had to have chosen him out of real affection, but what sparked that? Or something about the two of them and the Julianna issue; I always like to imagine that if Elodie did not react to her breaking out of jail by going all wildly anti-lumen and picks Ignatius at some point he goes "Listen, there is no way my sister is a traitor, you really need to pardon her (without giving her back her title plz)."

Paper Mario Series

You know, I spent my whole life playing the platformer games and never giving the idea of this pairing a second thought (outside of the common '...She is way to accepting of the idea that she's Bowser Jr.'s mom, what?' thought in Sunshine) , but then a few years ago I started picking up the RPGs, where Bowser's (usually) both less straight-out villainous and more obviously actually in love with Peach and suddenly started loving it like burning. I went with the Paper Mario series for my request since it's my favorite subseries, but if you want to toss in details from the other games I'm fine with that too.
How about a plan going right for Bowser (possibly because of Peach going "Have you ever thought of just asking me to visit instead of staging a kidnapping?")? Does he get super paranoid when it looks like the Mario brothers are effectively out of the picture, because they always show up? Something when Peach has become queen where they two of them have to come together (with or without other royalty about) for official country-running business outside of the constant kidnapping attempts, and how that goes? Something where she approaches him about a possible marriage alliance between them and everyone around her is both horrified on her behalf and baffled that she seems fine with the idea as she's putting it together, whether because the kidnappings were a cover for them actually hooking up when they had a chance or because, even if she never considered him that way during them, she knows him and knows that he loves her and there are much worse ways for an arranged marriage to start out as long as he'll agree that there'll be no villain-scaping of her country

I swear, I was into these two from the moment Balthier scooped him up mid-run to leap to safety, and never got over it again. I really like the mix of this suave "leading man" hooking up with this tremendous dork of a street kid as he realizes that there's really a lot more to him than that.
Something where Balthier doesn't vanish for a couple years because when he and Fran dig their way out of the rubble they find Vaan digging his way into them halfway through? Hurt-comfort where when Vaan does this it turns out the whole reason for Balthier dropping off the face of the world in canon was that he was badly injured in the crash, but now Vaan is there to help nurse him well? Anything with Balthier mentoring Vaan in sky piracy and things clicking from there, or turn it around and have them drift in and out of each other's lives for a few years but nothing ever happens until Vaan makes his own name and it suddenly hits Balthier that he's hot (maybe sprung by jealousy when he starts hearing the same sort of woman in every port rumors floating around about Vaan that you can find about Balthier himself in-games?)
I've always been of the opinion that Vaan's roll in-game is that we're shaping the birth of the last great skypirate before their age dies out, and would enjoy anything with Balthier watching that growth happen.

It's been so long since the first time I played the game when it came out that I don't even remember what first sparked my interest in Kratos/Lloyd, but I do distinctly remember that by the first optional training scene I hit with them I was strongly feeling "Okay, you've got each other alone, now bang!" I'm very into things set during the early game when Kratos knows the truth and Lloyd doesn't, the head fuck of Kratos realizing that Lloyd wants him and, worse, he wants Lloyd back. Or, something after learning the truth with Lloyd not really caring/the betrayal being more of an issue; he already has a dad and Kratos isn't it no matter the blood connection. Or something funny where EVERYBODY knows they were hooking up before the truth came out, and the general reactions to that.
Lloyd/Presea is one I really didn't expect to start liking when I started getting all the relationship scenes for everyone for completionist sake, so it totally caught me off-guard when I ended up really liking it. Her scenes tend to be so melancholy, and he so sweetly helps her remember what it is to have optimism in spite of everything. I would not want anything actually romantic happening when her body's still as young as it is in the game, though something canon-period with her wishing that she'd at least been a few years older when her time was locked away so she could act on her feelings without horrifying him could be nice. Or something with everyone just assuming she and Genis will start dating one day since his crush is much more obvious, only to be shocked when she asks Lloyd out. Something where she starts coming on strong when she thinks it should be fine for them to finally get together since she's well into puberty but she's still physically too young for him to feel comfortable with it (like, 15-16) and they have to have a frank conversation about the fact that it is frustrating for both of them that in her mind she's in her thirties and personality-wise they click but it's still going to be a year or two before he can touch her without feeling skeevy about it.
Zelos/Lloyd is one of my favorite pairings. Anything focused on Zelos opening up and learning to trust Lloyd would be wonderful. Maybe something with Lloyd taking him off to Iselia or some other city that was originally part of his world, where nobody would know Zelos as a Chosen and he could focus on just learning to be himself without the need for masks with Lloyd. Or going off on Lloyd's boat together! I'm afraid I don't have too many specific prompts for them, they're very much a "throw anything at them and see what happens and I'll be happy!" type pairing for me.

Oh man, these two. Of course in this entire set of games full of twisty relationship my favorite pairing ended up being a girl and her imaginary friend, lol. I love how even when that terrible classroom scene happens and Ange has already given up on all her other magic she still begs Mammon to be the one who can do something, and that with Mammon alone Ange's mind supplies the answer that would let her stay; be willing to kill them herself andshe could full-on disassociate Mammon could do what she wants. Something dark where exactly that happens could be fun. Or something playing on the metaworld, that the real Ange and Mammon could never really be together because of what they each are, but "Gretel" is someone who can. Lambda playing on that as well as Battler when trying to tempt her into changing sides: not only will she always get to stay with her brother in a world of eternal stalemate, she'll also always get to stay with Mammon without the real world coming between them.
Or something embracing full fantasy, where the Ange who dies in her time ends up being claimed by an actually real Mammon in the afterlife. Not to torment her, but because she is Mammon of Greed and Ange is HERS.

This is another where I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of prompts, this couple was just so right up my alley that I'd like to see almost anything exploring more of them. Something with her worrying that he'll regret having thrown his entire life away for her in the ending where he spirits her away? Maybe she tries hard everyday to make sure he'll always be too happy for regrets, only for him to pick up on it and go she doesn't need to do that, he made the choice he wanted. Something set when he made that choice, showing more clearly from his side how he ended up picking this girl he hardly knows over the duty his family's been living with for generations? (I'm not usually into soulmate stuff, but given that this is based on a fairy tale I could get behind him feeling she was his when he made the choice. I could even more get behind it if she didn't feel the same way, seeing as she could just as easily fallen for a different guy during the same period, but loves him just the same.) Or branching off the various variations of her taking back her home, and his frequent visits there. Hurt comfort where he's injured in the line of duty and she insists on caring for him herself in her home, all other hosting duties foisted of on whatever step family she made friends with? Or after any of their endings just something quiet about how they settle into a relationship with each other once she's past these weird few days of her life that she spent chasing madly after a better future.
The only things I would not like are things branching off from her becoming queen and having an affair with him, or off routes where she is fully evil.

I play my Sidestep very blue and a big part of them very much wanting Ortega to figure things out and stop her, so anything along those lines would be nice. Is she feeling disappointed with him for failing even as their romance deeps. Maybe if their relationship's gotten deep enough (and she's kept on not actually doing anything seriously evil) by the time he finds out he keeps his mouth shut at first as he tries to figure out what the heck he wants to do about it? His finding out about any of her secrets is great really! Or, other way around, her getting past the pedestal she has him on and learn more about him as he is. More than any other possible pairing in this game I'm very into anything about the two of them eventually coming to see each other clearly instead of being caught up in how they perceive each other.
On the other hand, Sidestep/Steel hits this contrary part of me that faces characters who dislike the PC in games and go "I WILL MAKE YOU LIKE ME!" But I'm also really interested in the fact that WOG says that it's more difficult for a female Sidestep to romance him because he's only ever been interested in men before, and given her powers and his suspicion of them I'd be really interested in anything where he thinks she's telepathically manipulating him into wanting her (though I wouldn't want her actually doing so)
I always prefer default names, so please keep Sidestep's day to day name as Cynthia. If you'd be interested (and please don't feel like you need to, I'm only offering the ability to because it's quick to blaze through and the character can differ so much depending on playthrough) once I'm not using my phone to post I'll put a quick list of all the choices my Sidestep made here- https://person4.dreamwidth.org/145739.html -so you can see how my own is, but the main thing is preferring her blue whatever her decisions.

I first picked Xander for my Corrin to marry because nobody can EVER argue that she doesn't belong with the Nohr royal family again if she's married into it, no matter how she first came into it (and Xander being the one old enough that he'd have always been fully aware of her not really being his sister, even if he accepted her into the family as one). I'd really like something based around that idea, Corrin negotiating out whether they'd be willing, feeling guilty about asking them to sacrifice having a wife who loves them as a spouse should to ease her fears but not so guilty as to not ask. I'm totally happy with romantic love growing from there, but like a starting place of Corrin wanting to make it clear to the world that this family is HERS.
Azura and Arthur was a pairing that jumped on me out of nowhere, I'd never even intended to have them support right up until he was the closest on to pair up to protect her one time she almost died, the battle lasted long enough for the C-rank to pop and I immediately needed to know where it was going. They're so sweet together, and I would love to see anything focused on their relationship. Arthur writing more little songs for her? Something about their parenting, considering how differently their linked children react to each of them? Something sad post-Conquest about Arthur's luck and choice of wife? Or maybe something timeloopy where post-Conquest he goes back and ends up in the Revelations path with all his memories?
Odin and Elise were the first pair I decided to hook up, just because the cutie pie princess and the chunibyo boy getting married amused me, but I ended up being seriously charmed by how thrown off he was by her delight in his way well before S-rank. Anything about one of her unseen lessons in Odin-isms would be cute, or about the rumors he's mentioned them causing about his corrupting her and how few shits she gives about them. Something with Laslow and Selena teasing Odin about marrying a girl a lot like his mom? Something on their wedding day, how ridiculous do the wedding vows get? (I could imagine him trying to rein it in a bit right up until she comes out with some big ridiculous Odin-ist speech herself.) Or anything once it's time for him to go back home, maybe something with Corrin focusing on the fact that each sister had to make a choice about whether to stay with their old family or their new one, and where Corrin picked Nohr Elise chooses Odin and Ophelia.

This pair just grabbed me the first time I played Tagora's chapter and never let go again. I like Gor-Gor giving him gifts and trying to pretend that he didn't actually spend money on him (does it mean something in troll society that he would go against his own money hungry quirk for him?) I like how after several chapters where the PC was obviously attracted to the troll of the moment Tagora was the first one that was obviously attracted to him instead once he got himself all cleaned up and sparkly. Maybe something with Tagora coming to terms with figuring out he's into aliens? Galekh, after his chapter, letting Tagora know that he's decided that he doesn't mind PC as Tagora's matesprit if he wants the people in his quadrants to be okay with each other, to Gor-Gor's mortification? Anything at all post-game with the PC trying to figure out how the hell he really feels about all these weirdos post-compulsion and realizing he actually has more than friendly feelings for this one. Or, I have never been able to bring myself to get the bad Tagora ending in Tirona's route, but know what happens and could go for the PC frantically trying to fix things with him; we know that Tagora is at least somewhat aware of what Tyzias is up to so he'd at least get where PC was coming from if he went "She was forcing me to break into one of my friends offices and I knew you had nothing to hide UNLIKE OTHERS" (though if you run with that I would rather he does succeed in winning him back).
If what's in Tagora's pants comes up I dislike both tentadick and trolls have both headcanons, if going for xeno I'd rather it get weirder than that or else just keep things humanlike (except, you know, grey and probably rougher).

I've gotten a couple nice things for these two before, but I'm always after more!
I really like how we know from WoG that the reason he abstains at the vote of no confidence is because he's grateful to her for his position but thinks that she's completely mad for treating his sister the way she did, and it takes you literally making her the very best Elodie she can be to make him see her as someone he could love, and even then she really has to work for it to make him consider marrying someone so young showing that she must genuinely want to be with him to bother. And, honestly, it just makes me happy for the poor guy to finally have someone who really wants him.
Really, just anything building up this relationship, with Elodie slowly convincing Ignatius that, yeah, there are potential matches for her that are closer to her own age or better options politically, but for whatever reason she wants to marry him and that is it for her. And that she was someone who could make him happy as well. Why did she choose him (whims of the player aside)? From how long their courtship took, at a time when I'm sure the whole country was itching for her to produce an heir ASAP considering all that had happened, presumably she had to have chosen him out of real affection, but what sparked that? Or something about the two of them and the Julianna issue; I always like to imagine that if Elodie did not react to her breaking out of jail by going all wildly anti-lumen and picks Ignatius at some point he goes "Listen, there is no way my sister is a traitor, you really need to pardon her (without giving her back her title plz)."

You know, I spent my whole life playing the platformer games and never giving the idea of this pairing a second thought (outside of the common '...She is way to accepting of the idea that she's Bowser Jr.'s mom, what?' thought in Sunshine) , but then a few years ago I started picking up the RPGs, where Bowser's (usually) both less straight-out villainous and more obviously actually in love with Peach and suddenly started loving it like burning. I went with the Paper Mario series for my request since it's my favorite subseries, but if you want to toss in details from the other games I'm fine with that too.
How about a plan going right for Bowser (possibly because of Peach going "Have you ever thought of just asking me to visit instead of staging a kidnapping?")? Does he get super paranoid when it looks like the Mario brothers are effectively out of the picture, because they always show up? Something when Peach has become queen where they two of them have to come together (with or without other royalty about) for official country-running business outside of the constant kidnapping attempts, and how that goes? Something where she approaches him about a possible marriage alliance between them and everyone around her is both horrified on her behalf and baffled that she seems fine with the idea as she's putting it together, whether because the kidnappings were a cover for them actually hooking up when they had a chance or because, even if she never considered him that way during them, she knows him and knows that he loves her and there are much worse ways for an arranged marriage to start out as long as he'll agree that there'll be no villain-scaping of her country

I swear, I was into these two from the moment Balthier scooped him up mid-run to leap to safety, and never got over it again. I really like the mix of this suave "leading man" hooking up with this tremendous dork of a street kid as he realizes that there's really a lot more to him than that.
Something where Balthier doesn't vanish for a couple years because when he and Fran dig their way out of the rubble they find Vaan digging his way into them halfway through? Hurt-comfort where when Vaan does this it turns out the whole reason for Balthier dropping off the face of the world in canon was that he was badly injured in the crash, but now Vaan is there to help nurse him well? Anything with Balthier mentoring Vaan in sky piracy and things clicking from there, or turn it around and have them drift in and out of each other's lives for a few years but nothing ever happens until Vaan makes his own name and it suddenly hits Balthier that he's hot (maybe sprung by jealousy when he starts hearing the same sort of woman in every port rumors floating around about Vaan that you can find about Balthier himself in-games?)
I've always been of the opinion that Vaan's roll in-game is that we're shaping the birth of the last great skypirate before their age dies out, and would enjoy anything with Balthier watching that growth happen.

It's been so long since the first time I played the game when it came out that I don't even remember what first sparked my interest in Kratos/Lloyd, but I do distinctly remember that by the first optional training scene I hit with them I was strongly feeling "Okay, you've got each other alone, now bang!" I'm very into things set during the early game when Kratos knows the truth and Lloyd doesn't, the head fuck of Kratos realizing that Lloyd wants him and, worse, he wants Lloyd back. Or, something after learning the truth with Lloyd not really caring/the betrayal being more of an issue; he already has a dad and Kratos isn't it no matter the blood connection. Or something funny where EVERYBODY knows they were hooking up before the truth came out, and the general reactions to that.
Lloyd/Presea is one I really didn't expect to start liking when I started getting all the relationship scenes for everyone for completionist sake, so it totally caught me off-guard when I ended up really liking it. Her scenes tend to be so melancholy, and he so sweetly helps her remember what it is to have optimism in spite of everything. I would not want anything actually romantic happening when her body's still as young as it is in the game, though something canon-period with her wishing that she'd at least been a few years older when her time was locked away so she could act on her feelings without horrifying him could be nice. Or something with everyone just assuming she and Genis will start dating one day since his crush is much more obvious, only to be shocked when she asks Lloyd out. Something where she starts coming on strong when she thinks it should be fine for them to finally get together since she's well into puberty but she's still physically too young for him to feel comfortable with it (like, 15-16) and they have to have a frank conversation about the fact that it is frustrating for both of them that in her mind she's in her thirties and personality-wise they click but it's still going to be a year or two before he can touch her without feeling skeevy about it.
Zelos/Lloyd is one of my favorite pairings. Anything focused on Zelos opening up and learning to trust Lloyd would be wonderful. Maybe something with Lloyd taking him off to Iselia or some other city that was originally part of his world, where nobody would know Zelos as a Chosen and he could focus on just learning to be himself without the need for masks with Lloyd. Or going off on Lloyd's boat together! I'm afraid I don't have too many specific prompts for them, they're very much a "throw anything at them and see what happens and I'll be happy!" type pairing for me.

This is another where I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of prompts, this couple was just so right up my alley that I'd like to see almost anything exploring more of them. Something with her worrying that he'll regret having thrown his entire life away for her in the ending where he spirits her away? Maybe she tries hard everyday to make sure he'll always be too happy for regrets, only for him to pick up on it and go she doesn't need to do that, he made the choice he wanted. Something set when he made that choice, showing more clearly from his side how he ended up picking this girl he hardly knows over the duty his family's been living with for generations? (I'm not usually into soulmate stuff, but given that this is based on a fairy tale I could get behind him feeling she was his when he made the choice. I could even more get behind it if she didn't feel the same way, seeing as she could just as easily fallen for a different guy during the same period, but loves him just the same.) Or branching off the various variations of her taking back her home, and his frequent visits there. Hurt comfort where he's injured in the line of duty and she insists on caring for him herself in her home, all other hosting duties foisted of on whatever step family she made friends with? Or after any of their endings just something quiet about how they settle into a relationship with each other once she's past these weird few days of her life that she spent chasing madly after a better future.
The only things I would not like are things branching off from her becoming queen and having an affair with him, or off routes where she is fully evil.
