Group: Male Deputy/Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5), Fanfiction

- non-canon amputations (consensual or otherwise) if the person in question is going to stay alive (stuff done to corpses is totally fine though by me).
See letter for more information! Basically some Joseph/Male Deputy that dives a bit into a mutual obsession would be nice. I'd prefer Rook as the Deputy's name. Plot-wise maybe something set in the bunker? It gets lonely, being the only two people left alive (with Joseph having some religious guilt and Rook having some "murderous cult leader!" guilt) but you know, they kind of also want somebody/each other to touch. I also adore soulmate-AUs, so maybe Rook horrified to find his soulmate in Joseph who in turn is delighted and considers it all God's plan. And Rook trying, and failing, maybe to not give in to the soulmate thing.

Yeesha (Myst), Group: Yeesha & Achenar (Myst), Fanart, Fanfiction
Maybe something about Yeesha and the sea? She's so tied up down the sinkhole of D'ni's past, present and future that I wonder what she'd feel on the shore of an Age she or her parents Wrote - or anywhere on Earth. Yeesha's Modern Surface Adventures is always untapped potential - feel free to write any other Uru character along with her in this scenario. Or Esher, if you want them both to have a horrible time (I am interested in them as people who have been forced to spend time together but genuinely can't stand each other. Please no ships in either case).
Or what about forests?
Yeesha and Achenar's bond is so dear to me. I am mostly interested in adult Yeesha so I'd love to see any handwavey time travel shenanigans or Achenar Lived what-ifs (it can be such a blink-and-you'll-miss-it change, he survives his heroic act and goes back to self-exile or something?) or Yeesha finding something that belonged to her brother. But I'd also love to read about their time together before Revelation! I don't know if there are any plausible ways to circumvent the fact that he can't leave Haven and she can only reach that tiny cell in Haven, but hey, the sky's the limit.

(quick plug: this is a 15 minutes fandom! Each part of the anthology is a tiny standalone free game)
I know next to nothing about Indian history/culture/literature; if you want to dwell on any part of it, please do so in a way that'll be understandable to an ignorant reader.
This is a blanket "anything in the vein of canon" request! I am enchanted by the games' use of looping narratives, bold in-your-face symbolism to speak of colonialism and what it leaves in its wake, big items, recurring figures in its framing devices. I nominated three characters, but I am also interested in stories that make use of the setting in other ways. A new story could hide in a forgotten room of the Museum of Dubious Splendors, or be told on the radio or on the phone. More strange places like the Museum itself or the telephone mine could exist, and James Pendleton Fielding probably heard of them. Do eaters of buildings or similar figures also exist where you live, dear author? Or, to go up one level in this hall of mirrors: all the games declare themselves adaptations of the poems and short stories of Gujarati poet Mir UmarHassan. What was the man like, to write of such things?

Who passes through these non-places? What life inhabits them? I would love to read a story based on any of the levels, roughly in the same ballpark of dreaminess. It could also be a literal dream. Who is holding a meeting with the lamps? Don't you just hate it when you're late and the escalator is filled with palm trees (on the other hand, if you're not late, it should be pleasant enough)? What about the eggs at the bus stop?
